Jamia Sa-adiya Arabiya, a religious and socio-cultural organization established in 1971 by late Janab Kallatra Abdul Khader Hajee in his house is a prodigious pharos in North Kerala. The dynamic leadership of Janab M.A.Abdul Khader Musliyar, an eminent scholar, has made Sa-adiya one of the biggest institutions meant for the socio-cultural development of the society. Sa-adiya aims at establishing and running educational complex, medical centre and vocational training centres for the community. More than 4000 students from various religious sects get educated and vocationally trained in diverse fields . More

'THE VISIONARY OF THE MILLENNIUM'

A prolific writer, a great thinker, a renowned scholar, a fine orator, an able organizer, a creative Arabic poet, a model teacher 'Shaikuna' M.A Abdul Qadir Musliyar is above all a veteran educationist. Born on 1 st July, 1924 in a rural village Udumbumthala near Thrikaripur in Kasaragod. 'Shaikuna' M.A is the eldest son of well known Abdulla Haji and Mariyam. He is much blessed to have been born in a family of sound educational background.

'Shaikuna' picked up his primary lessons on religion from the great scholars like Abdul Khader Haji and Ahmed Musliyar. He had his schooling up to V th forum at L.P School , Udumbumthala. Later, he amassed a rich store of Moral learning in the service of some great thinkers and scholars. He also attained a proficient mastery over Urdu language.

Shaikuna's life of a family man began in 1955. He married Khadeeja, the daughter of his uncle Ahmed Musliyar . Kunhahmad, Abdul Wahab, Nafeesa, Beefathima and Juwairiya are his beloved offsprings. His career as a tutor began when he was a student at the great Juma Masjid Beericheri. In 1951, he became the Managing Trustee of the Dars Madrassas in and around Beericheri where he continued for a period of 20 years. Then he worked as a lecturer at Quvvathul Islam Arabic College , Thaliparamba for another 5 years. His relentless service reached Jamia Sa-adiya Arabiya in the year 1979.

Equipped with decades of experiende 'Shikuna' has designed some powerful masterpieces in the world of letters, which are his valuable contributions to the Sunni World. These are some astonishing pieces for the exuberance of his genius in abstract notions and for the depth of analytic and philosophic insight. Further more, they are the watermarks of a subjective interpretation of all the complexities of contemporary thoughts and feelings and hence they are full of practical wisdom. " Al-Akthabul Khamsa, Musleengalum Shareeath Niyamangalum, Jama-athe Islami:Marupadikku Marupadi, Islamika Chinthakal:Sathyavum Mithyavum, Islamika Vishwasam, Thableeg Jama-ath:Enth, Ormayile Edugal " … thus goes the list of his well acclaimed creations.

The General Manager of Jamia Sa-adiya Arabiya and the Senior Professor 'Shikuna MA' is, at present, the President of All India Islamic Education Board. Recognition and approval reached this renowned personality from all corners of the country. Alkobar Islamic Service Centre conferred him an award for his exemplorary service in the educational field. Thirunavaya Islamic Research Centre honoured him with an award for his meritorious attempts in social enlightenment. Darul Ma-arif Dahwa College conferred Imam Gazzali Award for his contributions towards the Sunni Literature. He has also won Al-Musaffa SYS Award, Al-Maqdoom Award etc.

Shaikna's life and career is an unbroken record of success and prosperity fired by a humble and selfless approach of men and matters around him. Simplicity and humility sum up the magnificence of this elegant personality. No wonder the hands of this farsighted wizard work wonders in the socio–religious and technical spheres of our Nation…..

We have been in the scenario since 1971. Late Kallatra Abdul Khader Haji is ever remembered for his brave initiatives for the establishment of Jamia Sa-adiya Arabia .
